Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Mu collects minimal data to operate the platform:

• Viewing behaviour — anonymised telemetry including camera switches, playback duration, and errors. This helps us improve the viewer experience. No personally identifiable information is attached to these logs.
• Uploaded content — video and audio files you upload as a creator, stored securely on Cloudflare R2.
• Email address — only if you provide one (e.g. for processing notifications). Never shared with third parties.

2. How We Use Your Data

Data is used solely to operate and improve Mu. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Infrastructure

Mu is built on the following services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Cloudflare R2 — video and audio file storage
• Supabase — database (event metadata, camera sync data, anonymised viewer logs)
• Modal.com — serverless video processing
• Vercel — web hosting

4. Data Retention

Viewing logs are retained for up to 90 days. Uploaded content is retained until a creator requests deletion. You can request deletion of any data associated with your content by contacting us.

5. Cookies

Mu uses localStorage (not cookies) to remember your tooltip dismissal preference. No tracking cookies are set.
